Rev Chris Gregory RIP

4th Jan 1953 - 21st May 2023

Chris was a member of our North Meols Team and served across all three churches. He was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in the autumn of 2022. Chris continued in his ministry until the symptoms of his illness began to increase and sadly, he had to retire in November 2022. He was originally due to retire in January 2023.

Chris loved every single minute of being a priest and serving the churches and communities across our parishes.

His loss to his family, to our churches and especially to St John Crossens, a church he particular loved is huge indeed. There will never be another Chris!

All through his illness Chris never wavered in his faith and spoke to others from a strong belief that he knew where he was going after death and that he would be with the God he had loved and served all his life.

So we continue to pray for Chrissy, (Chris’s wife) and all his family as they grieve the loss of a true family man and send them our love and support.

May Chris rest in peace and one day may he rise in glory.
